Parking & Accessibility

Just a short distance from Liberty Island lies Ellis Island, which served as the nationโ€™s busiest immigrant inspection station from 1892 to 1954. Over 12 million immigrants passed through its halls, each carrying dreams of a new life in America.ย ย

Today, the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration preserves their stories through exhibits and artifacts, allowing visitors to explore the personal journeys that helped shape the nationโ€™s diverse identity. Together, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island form a powerful narrative of hope, struggle, and the pursuit of the American dream.ย
